A Virtual Community for Fiction Writers – The Writers’ Mastermind Launches

Writers might be the least likely to suffer from social distancing, using the time inside to get more words on the page, but although the craft of writing is solitary, becoming a successful fiction author is not something easily done alone.

Christa Wojciechowski is an internet marketing strategist and dark fiction author who has vowed to put an end to the cliché of the reclusive writer. The Writers’ Mastermind is a virtual community where writers of all levels can join with other storytellers online to attend online classes, trade critiques, and support each other.

“I believe any writer can become a successful author with the right tools, support, and feedback,” says Wojciechowski, who struggled alone as a writer until she began cultivating an online tribe of fellow writers. “Making connections has brought opportunities I would’ve never encountered on my own. Plus, being a writer is a strange obsession. Non-writers have a hard time relating to our issues. Gathering with other creatives is a source of comfort and inspiration.”

The Writer’s Mastermind is a membership site that features monthly masterclasses on topics such as writing technique, traditional publishing, self-publishing, book marketing, creativity, and business planning. Members have access to a private Facebook community, expert Q&A sessions, critique partners, and live Mastermind conferences on Zoom. “The mastermind meetings are amazing,” Wojciechowski says. “It creates this synergy. We all walk away sparking with new ideas.”

The membership model of the Writers’ Mastermind makes it possible to bring a tremendous amount of value for a very low price. “I wanted it to be two things,” Wojciechowski says. “Affordable and actionable. Building a membership allows me to overdeliver for an insanely small price.”

The first masterclass is The Ultimate Author Planning Workshop, designed to help aspiring authors and working writers crystalize their vision of what it means to be a successful author and help them to develop a step-by-step plan to get to their big-picture dreams. “Writing is a deeply personal form of expression,” Wojciechowski says. “Having a concrete plan helps us to detach from the fear of failing or being criticized and allows us to just get things done.”

The next masterclasses in the lineup are Author Platform Mastery and Plan Your Book Publicity Tour. In future classes, Wojciechowski will begin bringing in guest instructors. “My goal is to put all the information a writer needs in one spot. I’m excited to collaborate with people who are passionate about helping writers,” she states.

The Writers’ Mastermind launches on June 5th, 2020. The membership is open to writers of all levels and genres. Those who sign up for the grand opening will pay the launch price of $19 monthly, which will be locked in for a lifetime.

“Writing fiction is an important job,” Wojciechowski says. “We’re not just entertaining our readers. We are documenting our times through story. I want to help fiction writers who know how important the art of storytelling is to use their gifts to change the world.”
