As the COVID-19 pandemic escalates, the risks inherent in global supply chains are more apparent. A return to business as usual is unlikely according to manufacturing journalist Thomas R. Those robotics companies that can quickly deliver AGVs and AMRs will prevail. Too many solution providers have a long lead time and will fail to maximize robotic implementation during Q2 2020.
