Personal Injury Lawyer Marion Munley Receives “Distinguished Service Award” from the American Association for Justice
Scranton, PA – Personal injury law firm Munley Law is pleased to announce that Marion Munley is among this year’s recipients of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Board of Governors Distinguished Service Award.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes members of the AAJ Board of Governors who during the past year have been of special assistance to the president of the association. The American Association for Justice is a nationwide network of trial lawyers; the organization’s mission is to promote a fair and effective justice system and to ensure that people who suffer injury due to negligence or misconduct can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms, even when up against powerful interests.
Marion is an advocate for jury trials in the justice system, and an active member of AAJ. In addition to her service on the Board of Governors, Marion belongs to a number of groups and committees, including the National College of Advocacy Board of Trustees, the Legal Affairs Committee, Publications Committee, and the National Finance Council. She is a past Chair of the AAJ Women Trial Lawyers Caucus and she was the first woman to become Chair of the AAJ Trucking Litigation Group.
