Julienne’s Afternoon Tea Experience launches Kickstarter Campaign
Julienne’s Afternoon Tea Experience is an inspiring new Tea House created by a mother-daughter duo from Sudbury, Massachusetts. This LGBT+ women owned restaurant is a dream of Julienne’s, who was born with half of a heart and has overcome many medical hardships. She is now ready to pay it forward and a portion of all proceeds from the restaurant will be donated to the Make A Wish Foundation. To bring this dream to life, Julienne and her mother have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and they are welcoming community support and backing.
“My daughter Julienne was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and had her first open heart surgery at four days old and her fifth at the age of eighteen.” Said Brooke Leone, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. “Located in Boston MetroWest, this will be an all-new and exciting tea room to create cherished moments with family and friends, offering much more than just a meal.” She added.
